Learning to be OK with being alone

I invite you all to spend time being alone. I'd say that it's one of the hardest things for me do to. Try going to a restaurant alone or the movie theatre. I find that it can be something completely out of my comfort zone. I think that most of us are so used to being with someone all the time that when it comes time for us to be alone we don't know how to. Sometimes I feel like I'm losing it when I'm alone. Any of you who are single, I invite you to spend more time being on your own because one day we'll have so little time to ourselves. That's what many husbands and wives have told me. If you can do it financially, live on your own for awhile. Atleast a year. I've found that the longer you live on your own, the harder it gets because you know that no one's going to be there when you get home. The novelty is wearing off. That's when you have to start getting comfortable with being uncomfortable with being alone. The neat thing I've discovered in my own journey is that we're never really alone. Once you come to terms with that, I think we'll all be more comfortable with it. I'm not saying I'm there yet either. It's a process.
